Firebase/VueJS/Express API Developer Needed

We are a small MWBE located in WA that recently forayed into the digital realm - see our young website here: www.excelcna.com. Our goal is to be a data driven and data smart organization in our marketing efforts and accounting.

The poster of this ad has an intermediate level expertise in VueJS and express JS. The ideal candidate should have experience and a portfolio in this stack superior to the poster’s. The poster is seeking a co-developer who would also help him level up his skills.

We are motivated by a WA state contract opening up (for bidding) March, 2021 to assist laid off workers rejoin the labor force. Due to COVID19 pandemic, the labor market has been severely disrupted - millions of workers in hotel and leisure, restaurant, travel and all other associated industries have been furloughed or laid off. On the other hand, there is a huge demand for nurse assistants and caregivers.

In order to stand out in the bidding phase, we need to demonstrate we can track our students’ job status and employment after they complete our program. Twilio service is key in achieving this objective.

To achieve our goals of being data smart/driven in our accounting and marketing efforts and improve our prospects of winning the WA state contract, we are seeking a developer knowledgeable in:

- Quickbooks API

- Mailchimp API

- Facebook API

- Twilio voice and text API

We will use is:

- Firebase hosting and authentication

- Firestore database

- ExpressJS backend

- VueJS for frontend - currently using EJS templates - very limiting

This is a phase gated project that will be guided/informed by experimentation and user feedback.

Current PRIORITIES are:

- SEO - need to improve our site mobile’s SEO using Google Search Console

- Improve excelcna.com’s mobile usability

- Quickbook API and Mailchimp API

- Educate me

STAGE 2

- Facebook API - send user data to Facebook audience

- Educate me

STAGE 3

- Facebook, Google authentication

- Apply jobs/respond to applications via Twilio API

- Educate me

STAGE 4

- Twilio API - allow users to communicate via text/voice, 1 to 1 and receive notifications

Finally, the site should be easy to instrument for measurement using Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Facebook Pixel etc.
