Technical Writer / Automotive Industry

An international automotive company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to come on board in a remote capacity to support their Pacific North West office. The ideal candidate is an expert communicator, passionate about building and sharing knowledge with developers, and can dive into code at a moment's notice.

• Experience authoring and maintaining technical documentation of cloud software, web applications, APIs, and SDKs.
• Experience crafting security and/or compliance documents for external consumption from internal artifacts.
• Experience creating compliance documentation for NIST 800-53, ISO 270001, GDPR, or China Security Law.
• Experience authoring, reviewing, and editing HTML, CSS, and markdown files.

• Experience working with common cloud programming languages - such as C#, C, Java, or Python.
• Experience working in or around the automotive industry or on IoT platforms
• Experience with Azure DevOps.

• 80% Partner with Security & Compliance team to drive the strategy and own execution of all security and compliance documentation.
• 20% Work collaboratively with Technical Writing team to create, update, maintain platform documentation.
