Full Life Care is now hiring Home Care Aides in Auburn neighborhoods. Our not-for-profit organization is working toward a future where adults with serious illnesses or disabilities can be supported in the community rather than living in isolation or needing to resort to institutional care. Our Home Care Aides help individuals to continue living in their own home despite the challenges of aging or chronic health conditions
Our Home Care Aides care for clients in King County: engaging with them in their own home, assisting with chores, accompanying them to the grocery store, preparing nutritious meals, encouraging healthy choices, and assisting clients with personal care. Many of our clients need assistance with self-care such as bathing, dressing, and using the bathroom. We respect the dignity of our clients and provide for them with care and compassion.
Our employees set their own schedule and can work either part-time or full time. All Home Care Aides are provided with paid training and continuing education opportunities and up to 3 weeks of paid vacation per year.
Compensation & Benefits:
Employer Health insurance at 20+ hours/week with no premium taken from your paycheck
Paid 70 hour training for new caregivers
Paid 12 hours of continuing education each year
Paid Time Off up to 3 weeks a year

Higher pay for caregivers with documented hours-worked from other agencies
Flexible scheduling
Premium for caregivers who work in Seattle: minimum wage starts at $16.72 per hour
New Hire Bonus:
$250.00 upon completing 700hrs-worked
Job Responsibilities:
Engage clients in their own homes by assisting with activities of daily living such as meal preparation, personal care (bathing, toileting, dressing), shopping, housework, and other tasks
Encourage clients to be as independent as possible in self-care
Monitor and report changes in client condition to supervisor according to policy
Participate and complete trainings and certification program
Qualifications
Formal or informal experience caring for vulnerable adults highly encouraged
Motivation and desire to serve adults with disabilities and/or chronic health conditions
Able to work with clients of any gender is preferred, not required
Reliable transportation to and from client's home, personal vehicle is preferred, not required
Must be at least 18 years or older with a high school diploma or equivalent
