Sprinter/Class B Service Technician

Peace Vans is a leading camper van shop located in the SODO neighborhood of Seattle. We are a diversified company with 6 different lines of business. In July of 2023, we launched a new business focused on support, upgrades, repairs and build outs of Sprinter based camper vans and other Class B style campers (Transit and Promaster). Since then, the Class B shop has grown considerably and we are looking to hire an experienced technician to the team.

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years experience in a production environment - camper vans, auto tech, light manufacturing, trades, etc.

Strong preference for experience with Sprinter camper vans or similar

2 excellent, professional references

A passion for and knowledge of the camper van space

Ability to lift 50-75 pounds and work a full day in a production environment

Attention to detail, cleanliness and a positive attitude towards being part of a team

Small set of your own tools

Some knowledge of 12V electricity

Responsibilities:

Installation of key aftermarket kits and components - suspension, brakes, exterior accessories, interior components and more

Stocking parts as they arrive - receiving them in, checking for damage, generating RMAs as necessary.

Keeping the shop orderly and clean

Build out of standalone systems as necessary - 12V electrical systems, water systems, interior cabinetry, etc.

Driving vans from various locations to shop/from shop

Shop open and close procedure

$20-$33/hour DOE

15 days of PTO plus 6 paid holidays
