We are a boutique law firm specializing in business and personal injury defense litigation. Our work is accomplished through small, focused teams consisting of a paralegal, a legal assistant, a junior attorney, a case manager, and a subject matter expert attorney. We are seeking an experienced Case Manager to join our team.

Role Overview:

As the Case Manager, your primary responsibility will be to ensure that cases under your management progress efficiently, stay within budget, and meet high standards of quality. You will manage the workflow, bridging the gaps between team members and keeping cases on track.

Key Responsibilities:

Case Management: Oversee the progress of multiple litigation cases, ensuring timely, budget-conscious, and quality-driven outcomes. You'll anticipate next steps, estimate timelines and costs, and strategically plan workloads.

Team Leadership: Lead and coordinate a team of attorneys and paralegals, many of whom have independent practices. Your role will be to keep the team motivated and on task by streamlining their involvement and minimizing hassle.

Problem Solving: Identify and resolve issues that arise at the boundaries between roles. You’ll gather facts, review documents, and develop strategies to keep cases moving forward.

Decision Making: Take charge of interviews and selection for case-specific roles, ensuring that the right people are in place to move cases forward. You’ll oversee the proper storage of documents online and manage deadlines, enabling the team to focus on their core responsibilities.

Qualifications:

Experience in commercial litigation or personal injury law.

Proven leadership skills, particularly in legal project management.

Ability to make quick, informed decisions to keep cases on track.

Strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Compensation:

- $50/hr.

- Remote position.

- Initial workload of 2 to 5 hours per week.
