RESPONSIBILITIES:A Kforce client is seeking to hire a Scrum Master in Seattle, Washington (WA).

Responsibilities include: Organize and facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-up meetings, reviews/demos, retrospectives, and release planning meetings for 2-3 product teams Scrum Master will track, communicate team velocity, sprint, and release progress Educate and document agile development methodologies, standards, best practices, policies, and procedures Ensure development teams are following agile principles (collaboration, team accountability, and visibility) Scrum Master will assist the product owners in prioritization of backlog items Maintain effective communications with product owners to coordinate and collaborate in the attainment of corporate objectives Work with product team to identify and remove impediments, prevent distractions, facilitate discussions, prevent distractions, and self-organize Scrum Master will participate proactively in developing and maintaining team standards, tools, and best practices Identify, suggest and collaborate with development and product owner on measurable improvements for the teams Empower the team to self-organize Coach, train, and support other scrum masters within the organization

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or combination of relevant education and experience required Certified Scrum Master (CSM) is preferred 10+ years of total IT experience out of that of 5+ years of Scrum Master Experience 5+ years of experience in technology industry and customer-centric applications required 5+ years of Agile, Scrum, software development methodologies, values, and procedures required Experience with Jira and Confluence Ability to understand technical issues at a high level Ability to lead and coach the team to reach their highest potential Ability to work flexible hours as needed to complete projects Ability to provide leadership, clear direction, mentoring to Product Owners, and Development Teams Collaborative approach to driving decisions Excellent problem solving and analytical skills with a high level of accuracy Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work with all levels with the organization Exceptional communication, organization, and time management skills
