Data Engineer for one of its clients in

Seattle, WA.

Job Title: Data Engineer

Responsibilities:

Experience developing and operating large scale analytical databases/platforms/data warehouses
Experience in developing & optimizing data pipelines using Apache Spark & Other ETL/ELT Solutions within the context of AWS Cloud implementations
7+ years of experience leading technical designs, mentoring developers, and helping to drive engineering maturity
5+ years' experience with detailed knowledge of Data Platform architectures, Data Engineering, and data security
4+ years of experience in building data pipelines in the cloud with tools like S3, Hadoop, Hive; working with Petabytes of data
3+ yrs of Object Oriented programming/scripting language experience (Java,Python,Scala etc.)
Working with unstructured & semi-structured datasets, along with experience in Hadoop, MPP DB platform, and streaming technologies
Experience with financial ERP data preferred but not required (e.g. Oracle eBusiness Suite).
Excellent communication skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems or its equivalent with relevant experience

Work Site: Seattle, WA

Duration: 6+ Months

Expected Start Date: Immediate – 2 weeks
