AltaSource Group is seeking a Sr. Manager of Network Engineering and Security for our Seattle Online Gaming Client! This is an exciting opportunity to work for an industry leader, revolutionizing the gaming field through the power of technology. Our clients Network Engineering team is actively building its next generation network in the cloud and moving to Network as Code/Infrastructure as Code. You will be building out network infrastructure and security capabilities, working with on-prem and cloud-based firewalls, routers and switches, and collaborating with other teams. You ll be working mostly with Palo Alto security products (Panorama/NGFW/Prisma Access/GlobalProtect) and Cisco routers and switches (Nexus 9k and ACI). The focus will shift from mostly physical devices to mostly virtual as we migrate to the cloud. The team manages all routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, hybrid network connections, and all other corresponding technologies required to maintain and grow the network for the business. You will be working with on-prem, cloud and SaaS services. You will get to work with a highly collaborative team; working closely with team members and other cross-functional teams. Day to Day, you will:
Guide and develop a team of engineers and contractors responsible for building and maintaining/securing network services using a mix of on-prem devices, cloud services, and SaaS platforms Build and maintain relationship with key stakeholders in the business and the Central Technology Group Develop roadmaps for new service offerings Drive strategy to transformation the BFG network to Network as Code/Infrastructure as Code. Then train and prepare team so they are ready and effective following the paradigm shift You will investigate and integrate SaaS solutions; adding new capabilities and replace existing on-prem network and security solutions You will be participating in an on-call rotation About You: Your knowledge and skill-set should include: Experience working with network security devices and tools (NGFW, VPN) Deep experience architecting solutions with routers and switches, with a focus on Cisco ACI Hands on knowledge of F5 load balancers Ability to troubleshoot, research and resolve network and security issues Experience with cloud and SaaS based network services Good understanding of TCP/IP and cloud based IPAM and DNS services You want to expand and grow your cloud, networking and automation skills Growth mindset and are always willing to learn new skills Knowledge of public cloud infrastructure (Google Cloud Platform preferred, AWS/Azure) Solid communication skills Salary: DOE This position is a direct full-time role Our client is unable to consider candidates who require visa sponsorship for this role.
