Senior Java Engineer / Healthcare Education / 100% Remote

A growing online education company is looking for Senior Java Engineer to add to their team. The company teaches medical students' complex concepts through visual memory techniques. Their goal is to teach through informative video sketches that will help students master complex concepts. They work on a B2C subscription based SAAS platform that has 100,000+ end users It's in the education space so the work you'll do will help people in the education sector. As a Senior Engineer you'll be developing in Java11, SpringBoot, Hibernate, Heroku cloud, Microservices, and SQL. They also do 25% Ruby, so you'll get some exposure to that as well. You'll work on a team of 7 engineers and do 75% new development and 100% backend development. They're located in LA but this role will be 100% remote. You will be working with smart engineers in a fun culture where you'll be recognized for your work and you'll get to wear many hats! You'll also get a lot of say and visibility in the work you do.
