Playful nanny for special twin girls

Our newest clients in FAIRWOOD are in search of a wonderful caregiver for their 8-year-old twin girls beginning as soon as they connect with the right match.

Their twins are sweet, playful, and loving little girls! One of their twins has a rare genetic disease and a seizure disorder, and is developmentally delayed as a result. She is fully verbal and fairly self-sufficient (she can feed herself, play independently, walk/run) but she needs toddler-level supervision, so their nanny will need to stay near her and hold her hand when she's walking on hard surfaces since she falls a lot with her seizures.

A typical day for their nanny will include arriving to help the girls get ready for their day; preparing breakfast, getting them dressed and prepared for school. The twins are in zoom school from 8:30am-12:30pm and they need supervision to make sure they're staying on task and muting/un-muting their mics when it's their turn to speak. Once school is out for the day, the real fun begins! Their nanny will have the freedom to plan projects and activities to keep the girls busy and having fun for the remainder of the day, with a little homework time thrown in the mix.

Mom says the ideal nanny for their family will be patient, mature, kind and full of energy who will feel like an extension of their family. Someone who can be playful & fun-loving but firm with the girls when needed is a must! They also ask that their nanny has her own reliable vehicle for getting to work and for occasional driving with the girls to local destinations.

The girls split their time between two households, but mom and dad live a mile from each other in the same neighborhood. Two days per week will be spent at dad's house and two days per week will be spent at mom's house; dad works from home but will be largely out of the way and mom works full-time outside the home. Their ideal schedule would be Mon/Tues 8am-4pm at dad's house + Thurs/Fri 7am-5pm at mom's house, though Monday could switch to Wednesdays if their nanny would prefer a 3-day weekend instead of a day off in the middle week. They can commit to a minimum of 35 hours per week and ask for a commitment of at least one year; consistency is key for their girls!
