EXPERIENCED Assistant Business Manager needed for Apartment Communities located in Burien

We are looking for a candidate with industry specific experience: Property Management and/or Leasing must be on your resume in order to be considered for this position.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

Strong organizational skills and ability to schedule tasks effectively.

Strong sales and closing skills.

A problem solver; respond effectively to emergency situations.

Demonstrated competency in basic office procedures.

Good communications skills - verbal and written, pleasant and businesslike.

Must have and maintain a valid state driver license and insurance.

Must project confidence and a friendly attitude.

AMSI and YARDI EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Business Manager ensures that all functions at the apartment community(s) run smoothly and within the guidelines set. Maintain confidentiality with respect to residents, community business and fellow employees. You will be requested to complete other specific tasks as assigned.

MARKETING/LEASING & ADMINISTRATION:

Answer telephone, set up market ready apartments, show apartments to prospective residents, process rental applications. Process and maintain rental documents, prepare proper notices and carry out the eviction process, deposits, rental receipts, bills, accounting paperwork, resident relations and resident complaints. And complete monthly checklist items by deadline.
