Construction Bookkeeper

Job Description

Accounting company is seeking a Bookkeeper with Construction & or job costing experience to join our team! Quickbooks desktop & using Items vs Expenses experience is required. Questionnaire to provide proof of experience will be required.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Previous experience in the Construction or a job cost based industry required

-Quickbooks Desktop experience is required

-Accounts payable/Accounts Receivable: Bill.com experience preferred

-Bill entries, reconciliation and credit card entries experience required

-Job Costing using cost costs (CSI a plus)

-Payroll Experience: We use gusto (preferred)

-Assist in resolving problems: example: getting login access for payroll taxes

-Dropbox experience (preferred/ optional)

-Builder Trend experience (preferred/ optional)

-W9, 1099, W2 experience required

-Excel experience required

-Must have organizational skills including managing their schedule & google conference meetings

-Be reliable & work during time they dedicate and communicate to

-Must have communication skills and understanding of construction terms

-Must have own computer & reliable internet

-Able to self manage work & time management per working remote

-Available for weekly team meetings on Wednesday (morning and afternoon)

-Can commit to 3 days per week, 2-4 hours each day

Job Type: Part-time 10-20 hrs a week, W2 or 1099

Pay: $20.00-$25 /hour depending on experience

Ideally: Personnel located in WA if under payroll. 1099 may be anywhere. Staff working remotely with a few annual meetings in Sammamish.

Office Location: Sammamish WA office, job site located in Mammoth California
