Project Coordinator - Outage This company located in Richland, WA which is a joint action agency formed by the Washington state legislature in 1957, representing the convergence of small and big public power is seeking a Nuclear Project Coordinator for a long term contract role. Their consortium of 27 public utility districts and municipalities across Washington takes advantage of economies of scale and shared services that help utilities run their operations more efficiently and at lower cost, to the benefit of more than 1.5 million customers. Their agency further improves quality of life throughout the Northwest through the generation of clean, reliable electricity from nuclear, wind, hydro and solar projects. The agency owns and operates four electricity generating facilities: White Bluffs Solar Station, Packwood Lake Hydroelectric Project, Nine Canyon Wind Project and Columbia Generating Station (nuclear energy facility).The Project Coordinator is responsible for coordinating all aspects of projects including acting as the Project Technical Representative for budgeting, invoicing, billing and cost management. Under minimal supervision, acts as a specialist for specific projects with detailed knowledge of all aspects of the projects including planning, scheduling, and control of project activities. Maintains a knowledge base of new developments and technology. Conducts outreach activities to member utilities in support of Energy Services & Development initiatives. This project is looking for an individual who has experience with a planned nuclear outage and project experience with the following tasks.1. FW Heater Eddy Current Support2. Heat Exchanger Tube Cleaning3. MSR Inspection and Test4. Main Condenser Eddy Current Support5. CW-CT Preventive Maintenance6. Replace Flex Seal COND-HX-97. COND EJ & Piping Replacement8. Flow Accelerated Corrosion (FAC) Exams9. Other related projects as directed by the Technical Representative or designeeRefueling outage (R25) services include, but are not limited to the following:1. Planning and preparation of assigned projects.2. Implement projects as directed by Technical Representative or designee.3. Provide oversight of projects as directed by Technical Representative or designee.4. Other technical support services as directed by the Technical Representative or designee. This is an outage position and will start in 2021 Job Requirements: The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and ten (10) years of experience directly related to maintenance processes, human performance, and/or continuous improvement; OR an Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university and twelve (12) years of experience directly related to maintenance processes, human performance, and/or continuous improvement; OR a high school diploma or GED and fourteen (14) years of experience. Must have experience with Main Condenser and Heat Exchanger cleaning and maintenance projects.Desired Skills- PMP Project Management Professional Certification desiredBachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Construction, Project Management, or Professional Engineer Registration.
