Bardy Diagnostics is now an exciting, fast growing organization within Baxter with a unique and compelling product looking for the right Sr. Software Engineer to help us achieve our mission.Join a multi-skilled, dedicated, and talented team developing state-of-the-art wearable cardiac arrhythmia monitors and associated cloud-based software. In this role, work in a small and dedicated team focused on the development of these products. The right person will be energized by the unique challenges and opportunities of a fast-growing medical device organization, by interesting complex technical problems, and have a penchant for continuous improvement and engineering excellence.Responsibilities- Model, design, and build secure and reliable backends systems maximizing speed and scale.
- Work together with the development team to develop quality, testable applications based on product and regulatory requirements.
- Develop, test, and maintain implementations across system components.
- Contribute to a collaborative environment, helping to establish lean but effective software practices.
- Deliver high quality and timely results to meet the business needs.
- Deliver Design and Code using practices consistent with security and regulatory standards.
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent
- 7+ years' experience designing and developing scalable web applications.
- Excellent coding skills and proficiency in web technologies, with an emphasis in Python.
- Emphasis on designing and building backend systems and RESTful APIs and building systems at scale.
- Knowledgeable in database technologies including SQL/MSSQL, Cosmos DB, Azure storage tables.
- Ability to design data models supporting binary data collection for AI applications
- 3+ years' experience in implementing device / embedded systems software, preferably in C
- Experience in GPU programming, preferably with designing and implanting shaders.
- Demonstrable strong design and programming fundamentals.
- Highly self-motivated and directed.
- Medical Device or other regulated industry experience
- Seattle Metro Area locals (no relocation assistance)
