Summary of Position:The Video Editor/Designer will be responsible for supporting and executing projects from conception to final delivery. In this role, you will support the creation of technology-centered short videos, motion graphics, and live video productions that will be created with the close collaboration of internal and external partners. The Video Editor/Designer needs to be knowledgeable in the wireless industry, and be interested in the cutting edge, never done before in the world of tech. Interactive experiences that will either live in our physical spaces, digital spaces, or both will require your close tracking of the project, schedule, and budget management.

Essential Functions:
  • Capturing requirements from business units, strategy teams, and producers
  • Open and transparent communication of vision, plan, and expectations
  • Build trust with internal and external partners
  • Efficiently track timelines against deadlines and communicate needs/changes
  • Maintains knowledge of existing docs and creates new documentation to support streamlined efforts in increasing efficiency and capturing project end info.

  • Work Environment:This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

    Physical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.While performing the duties of this job, the employee in this position frequently communicates with other co-workers/clients who have inquiries about the various projects and other needs. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. The employee must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time. The employee in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. Constantly operate a computer and office machinery such as a calculator, keyboard, copy machine, and printer. Frequently moves boxes with equipment weighing up to 25lbs across the building and/or to other offsite buildings for various project needs.

    Required Education and Experience:
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications or Design, Project Management, or combination of equivalent experience and education
    • 5+ years of experience

    Qualifications:
    • 5-7 years of video editing experience
    • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite including fluency in Premiere and After Effects
    • Able to work in dynamic and collaborative settings, while keeping the main objective front and center.
    • Able to create processes and organizations for producers, project managers, and other designers, and shield from randomization and design creep
    • Ability to craft engaging, emotive stories from long-form interviews
    • Proficiency with Davince Resolve and color correction/grading is a plus
    • Deep knowledge of current video trends, codecs, cameras, etc.
    • Self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects at once
    • Technically savvy, resourceful, inventive, and hands-on
    • Excellent troubleshooter and problem solver
    • Ability to work cooperatively with others on a team. Develop, maintain, and strengthen partnerships that can provide information, assistance, and support
    • The ability to ensure that information is passed on to others who should be kept informed. Express oneself clearly in conversations and interactions with others
    • The ability to demonstrate concern and meet external and/or internal customers’ needs.
    • Displayed expertise in MS Office Suite
    • Experience using Basecamp, Figma, Miro, and other agile creative project management software
