job summary:

Security Analyst needed for Contract Opportunity with Randstad Technologies client in Redmond, WA.

We are looking for an experienced security analyst/investigator who is excited to apply their subject expertise to the development of analytic techniques to detect and combat cybercrime. This role will work alongside analysts and investigators to review and analyze security logs and other data to build, test and apply techniques to real-world investigations involving account compromise and malware. We are looking for someone with networking and Azure familiarity and a background in investigations and/or analytics. A successful candidate will have advanced skills in SQL and Scope. Familiarity with Python and Jupyter Notebook a plus.

Requirements:

- Advanced skills in SQL and Scope

- Azure experience

- Familiarity with Python and Jupyter Notebook a plus

- Familiarity with ransomware investigations a plus

o Good understanding of the MITRE ATT&CK framework

o Good understanding of computer network protocols and communication channels

o Basic understanding of cryptocurrency and blockchain

- Excellent communication skills

- Experience in producing technical reports from large data sets (Power BI skills a plus)
