Program Manager

Position Title: Program ManagerLocation: Remote (CST/EST)Estimated Start Date: ASAPEstimated End Date: 2+ years The Ascendion team is looking for a customer facing, detailed organized, and solutions focused Program Manager who will be working to lead a solid and growing team with passion to make a difference in the future of education. This new role is pivotal to ensuring our customers and deployment teams are able to execute and implement improved onboarding scenarios that will drive greater usage of solutions across platforms and devices with our customers. Our mission is to help teachers, students, parents and all educational organizations achieve more by providing services & tools to improve learning outcomes through the thoughtful and effective use of data. The Ascendion Team is a group of high talented, passionate, and eager program managers, project and product managers, engineers, architects, and brings a focused approach to deliver across all of the Education spectrum. We have resources, opportunity, and above all phenomenal customers across K12 and Higher Education as well as working hand-in-hand with our Partners, EdTech Providers (ISVs), and System Integrators to build, deploy, and growth the Education market. We are looking for program managers with practical knowledge and experience on delivering program learning, delivery, and adoption to customer through a prescriptive end-to-end method leveraging technology solutions.

• Ability to engage in senior level IT and business decision makers’ discussions related to agility, business value, and end user professional development.
• Act as enabler for other Architects, Consultants and Partners across our business
• Be credible by possessing keen guidance and practical understanding of what it takes to deliver a program from conception to mass adoption
• Understand competitive landscape and how to properly assess feasibility of migrating customer solutions from, and/or integrating with customer solutions
• Represent and deliver the full value of program services to our customer
• Should have professional level knowledge required to assist customers/partners in training, planning, execution, and supporting enterprise level solutions
• Proven success and expertise in program management with innovative change management agility in a client-facing role
• Demonstrated excellence facilitating deployment and implementation design & awareness sessions focused on complex application solution architectures
• Demonstrated capabilities in developing an understanding of the customer business value associated with the deployment of modern business productivity, system-to-system, and end-user applications.
• Ability to move between senior level client to end user role discussions on needs and values of the solutions provided along with the step by step guidance on delivery

• Understand cloud deployment and adoption planning to drive Customer Satisfaction
• Working knowledge of the Education market preferred but not required
• Proven track record of driving decisions collaboratively, resolving conflicts and follow through
• Problem-solving mentality leveraging internal and/or external resources, where and when needed, to do what’s right for the customer, partner and for the organization (i.e. think through workarounds, evaluate risk of various deployment options, etc.)
• Demonstrated technical thought leadership in customer facing situations
