RESPONSIBILITIES:A Kforce client is seeking to hire a Software Design Engineer 2 in Redmond, Washington (WA). We are looking for a contractor to help with Angular UI component development and integration. You will work closely with both software engineers and our design systems team to help implement controls as a part of our design system control library.

REQUIREMENTS: 3+ years of Software Development with focus around Web Application, coding, or UX Design Experience working with CSS in JavaScript, HTML, JavaScript/Typescript, Frameworks, Git, SourceTree, Visual Studio Code, or other IDEs Familiar with core developer concepts such as Node, NPM, NVM, Yarn, Command Line Tools and version control Figma, or equivalent UX/UI design tools An understanding of design performance implication - creating web, mockups that run fast, and are performant in a browser Strong attention to detail, with the ability to match redlines and motion specs down to the pixel Experience with unit and integration testing Excellent written communication skills Ability to collaborate, pitch, argue, negotiate, and iterate on design remotely
