Game Developer needed for Contract Opportunity with Randstad Technologies client in Redmond, WA (fully remote OK!)

Position Description

We are looking for a candidate to join the Game Development Team. The candidate will work closely with other team members. They will develop features, iterate on existing solutions, and provide ongoing support for our games on these platforms. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual that enjoys learning and that is proactive in solving problems with code, with cross-team communication, and with team

collaboration.

Qualifications:

Experience as a software engineer on a professional team working on shipped applications

6+ years of professional programming experience with C# or C

Motivated and excited to create and deliver great experiences to players across the world

Bonus Qualifications:

Experience with Unity

Experience writing applications that run on multiple platforms

responsibilities:

As a member of the Game Development Team, you will:

- Create technical designs and develop new features

- Update code, SDKs, and toolsets to meet business and platform requirements

- Identify and fix customer impacting issues reported by quality assurance and by our

community

- Participate in test-driven development by writing unit tests for your code and by

running and fixing the unit test suite when you make changes to the code base

- Perform manual testing for your changes across multiple platforms

- Participate in peer code reviews to support team growth and learning

- Take ownership of assigned work items, driving them towards completion

- Engage and collaborate with team members and with other teams across Microsoft to

deliver new experiences, tools, and features

qualifications:

  • Experience level: Experienced
  • Minimum 3 years of experience
  • Education: Bachelors

skills:
  • C# (3 years of experience is required)
  • C (3 years of experience is preferred)
  • Unity (1 year of experience is preferred)
