General Manager (Pullman, WA)

Our General Manager is a working manager and contributes to the success of Cougar Country Drive In by skillfully leading a team of qualified members in creating, maintaining and delivering the ultimate guest experience to every guest, every time. Pullman's Cougar Country Drive In is one of the most iconic restaurants in Eastern Washington! This is a hands-on position that works closely, effectively and in concert with both the Owner, Assistant GM and the Staff Supervisors to ensure that the restaurant operates smoothly, efficiently and successfully. Weekends are mandatory and the General Manager is expected to be on-site a minimum of 45 hours a week.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in management, training, scheduling, etc. Varied kitchen positions including food preparation, line cook, fry cook and expediter, would be useful.

2. At least 2 years experience in a similar capacity.

3. Experience in hiring, training and coaching to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction

4. Must be able to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen and dining room personnel and guests.

5. Must be able to work a minimum of 45-50 hours per week, including full weekends.

6. Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.

7. Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 9 hours).
