Locating, developing and managing this data center infrastructure the "right" way is synonymous with ensuring high uptime, capacity availability, flexibility and capital and operational cost efficiency. Meta is seeking an experienced, organized and outgoing program manager to join the Data Center Development team to support its data center site selection program. The Site Development Program Manager - Program Strategy will be a key member of the Program Strategy team. The team drives site development program improvements, develops guidance for site evaluation and diligence, project reporting, and communications, and ensures the site development program addresses changing business needs.A strong Program Strategy Program Manager candidate has a keen ability to think both strategically and analytically, to dive into the details and also assess programmatic needs from a global view, and develop durable approaches to meet the ever changing needs of a program of our scale and complexity. The Program Strategy Program Manager is also tenacious, results driven and an excellent project manager. An ability to communicate effectively, form partnerships and influence and drive stakeholders is a requirement for this position.Required Skills: Support the data center site selection program by developing guidance and standards for assessing site risks and opportunities working with technical experts in the team when it comes to land suitability, energy (including renewable energy), water and wastewater availability and cost

natural hazard, floodplain and climatological data
and legal, physical risk and financial implications
Take the lead role in organizing communications by creating scalable processes for tracking progress towards on-time delivery of projects, including delivery by partner teams like data center design and construction and network planning
Develop and maintain pipeline health metrics, including identifying issues that need resolution and mitigation
Work with key project team members to ensure alignment among all internal stakeholders and to find creative ways to overcome obstacles in the site development process
Bring expertise in site selection, site development, and coordination with key partners, (like design and construction) to develop improvements in how we deliver new sites efficiently to meet business needs
Develop scalable, efficient tools and processes to improve delivery and communication for data center site development
Influence key partner teams in adopting new standards and approaches to site development
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Planning, Engineering, Science or Environmental Management
5+ years of project management experience in site development
Experience in managing multiple projects and coordinating with internal staff and external consultants, vendors and other stakeholders
Experience with project management software, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications: Advanced technical degree, law degree or MBA
Experience developing large and complex infrastructure projects
Experience developing Business intelligence tools and reporting
