Senior Financial Auditor (REMOTE ROLE)Are you an experienced Senior Financial Auditor, able to provide hands-on financial management support services? This is a full-time position within ICF’s Justice, Workforce, and Community Development Line of Business (JWCD).You will be part of a team of Financial Auditors, Financial Analysts, and Community Development Specialists, providing financial and program analyses of Federal grant funding recipients, and assist with conducting compliance reviews, and related tasks for program oversight, to monitor Federal grantees’ fiscal and programmatic performance. You will also provide assistance with understanding grants management risks and deploying prevention measures.You should have the unique combination of interpersonal and analytical skills that will make you a critical part of our team from the day you arrive, with a drive to succeed, and a commitment to client satisfaction.As the selected professional, you will have successfully supported teams and work groups performing financial and program audit work for Federal, state, non-profit and/or commercial clients, and will collaborate with project managers internally and at the Federal client as needed. If you possess in-depth knowledge of implementing systems and protocols for the monitoring of Federal grant recipients, we need you to apply.We are open to supporting 100% remote work anywhere within the US. Key Responsibilities:Work as part of a team conducting financial and programmatic analyses and reviews of Federal grant funding recipients.

Assist with developing and documenting in-depth compliance review notes, working papers, reports, and technical assistance materials.

Provide technical assistance to grantees as needed.

Attend weeklong Federal grantee compliance reviews within the USA.

Basic Qualifications:A Bachelor's degree in accounting; or a degree in a related field such as business administration, finance, or public administration.

A certificate as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), a forensic auditor or equivalent, obtained through written examination.

4 years of general experience, having the following functional responsibility: With direction from project leaders, capable of using relevant analytical, methodological, and management tools needed to organize, perform and deliver the services being provided.

Demonstrated experience in auditing and monitoring block grant programs administered by states and tribes as well as nonprofit organizations that receive Federal grants.

Implements specialized solutions to problems and develops project work in areas of technical competence that will support other staff.

Ability to independently conduct objective and subjective analysis of information from multiple sources to provide concise, accurate reports of analysis, findings, and recommendations.

Outstanding skills using MS Office applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Clearance for the purpose of having Federal agency building access.

Preferred Skills/Experience:Demonstrated experience supporting Federal agencies.

Experienced with at least two of the following: The Community Services Block Grant (CSBG), Community Economic Development (CED) Program, Rural Community Development (RCD) Program, Social Services Block Grant (SSBG), the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) Block Grant and the Low-Income Household Water Assistance Programs.

Experienced in interpreting Federal block grant regulations.

Demonstrated experience designing and implementing monitoring systems and protocols for compliance reviews and visits.

Knowledge and experience using the Government standards for reviews published by the U.S Government Accountability Office (GAO).
