As a Per Diem Sonographer at St. Clare Hospital, you will:

Perform a variety of ultrasound procedures including abdominal, vascular, obstetrical, and other modalities as needed.

Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment according to established protocols and safety guidelines.

Prepare patients for procedures and provide clear instructions and support.

Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.

Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to HIPAA regulations.

Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.

QualificationsEducation/Work Experience:

Associates degree from an accredited training program in General diagnostic sonography and recent completion of a twelve-month internship in diagnostic ultrasound (with at least six months in General ultrasound) or equivalent recent directly-related work experience that demonstrates attainment of the requisite job knowledge skills/abilities.

Licensure/Certification:

Registration with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS); or Certification in Sonography by the American Association of Radiology Technologists (ARRT) Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS Certification.

Pay Range$40.00 - $61.84 /hourWe are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
