Truck and Heavy Machinery Mechanic

Seeking an EXPERIENCED Truck and heavy machinery mechanic.

Duties Include:

General Maintenance and upkeep of Agricultural truck and trailer fleet. (Belt and Flatbed trailers)

General Maintenance of farm machinery. (loaders, tractors, implements)

Making repairs in shop as well as road and field side as necessary.

Record keeping of all repairs and services rendered.

Requirements:

Extensive Understanding and experience of Truck/Trailer brake components and how to repair them.

Understanding of vehicle electrical systems and Trouble shooting abilities.

Knowledge and ability to make truck repairs to all external components.

Must have own tools. Extensiveness of tools will increase rate of pay.

Additional Skills Desired:

Fabrication and Welding abilities

Internal Diesel engine components diagnostics and repair.

Tire wheel mount/dismount and repair.

Work Environment:

Job is a mostly standalone position without other employees present. Assistance with projects will be provided as requested.

Most work will be performed in a Shop with occasional service calls.
