Find your future with us.The Boeing Company is looking for an Mid-level Mission Systems Performance Analysis Engineer (USAF E-7A) to join our team in Kent, WA and Tukwila, WA.Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity on the United States Air Force (USAF) E-7A Program for Mission Performance Analysis Engineers. The Mission Systems Team is responsible for design, procurement and integration of the full Mission Systems capability onboard the E-7A. In this role, you will be developing and analyzing cutting edge sensors and tracking solutions providing a clear and concise operating picture to the war fighter. The ideal candidate will have a math, physics, or engineering background and be well versed in Matlab, C, or other scripting languages.The E-7 is the world’s most advanced, capable and reliable Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEW&C) platform, having proven itself in operations around the world. The aircraft is designed to track multiple airborne and maritime targets simultaneously. It can provide situational awareness and direct other assets such as fighter jets and warships. Assists in developing and documenting requirements for various sensors and tracking solutions.

Performs complex analysis to predict component performance to established requirements.

Conducts tests to validate performance of designs to requirements.

Collects data on supplier and partner performance to ensure compliance to requirements.

Provides support to products throughout their lifecycle.

Supports project management by gathering project status data.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)Special Program Access or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position.Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry

5+ years or more experience with one or more of the following programming languages (C,C,Fortran, Python, Matlab, etc.)

5+ years or more experience working across other user group to gather, interpret, and coordinate requirements and communicate to other technical associates

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree or higher in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry

Active Top secret/SCI clearance

Experience with MATLAB for data analysis and/or modeling and simulation

Typical Education & Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience).
