Join Our Dynamic Tuning Team!Are you passionate about precision and innovation? As a key member of our tuning team, you’ll be at the heart of our shop floor operations, setting up tools, refilling materials, offloading profiles, and performing quality inspections. You’ll also have the opportunity to offer and implement process parameter changes, ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently.What You’ll Do:
Dive deep into the tuning process and pultrusion tooling configuration.
Utilize your AutoCAD skills to draw and update sketches/drawings, and perform tolerance stack-up analysis.
Review existing 3D models using SolidWorks.
Create poka-yoke and tooling designs with AutoCAD and SolidWorks (a plus!).
Develop and update tool-specific specifications.
Collaborate with the tooling department to request modifications, follow up on progress, verify completed work, and take measurements.
Exciting Projects:
Spend 10-20% of your time on engineering work, design edits in AutoCAD, and 3D modeling in SolidWorks, followed by documentation and design.
Engage in document control and collaborate with marketing to create drawings for our website.
Draw complex tools and thrive on the manufacturing floor, surrounded by machinery and tools.
Non-negotiable Skills Required:
Experience: 3+ years in manufacturing/process engineering with a Bachelor’s degree, or 5+ years with an Associate’s degree.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks for drafting tools and complex assemblies like dies. Solid knowledge of Excel.
Communication: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team on large projects.
Manufacturing Environment: Comfortable spending at least 60% of your time on the shop floor, assisting process specialists.
