This includes execution of environmental lifecycle assessments (LCA) to support current programs and development activities. Learn existing environmental LCA databases and Design for Environment tools and evaluate/implement methods to improve them for Boeing's use. We ensure that sustainable technologies are applied across design, materials and manufacturing, and in service. And we are committed to integrating materials within the products and production systems for positive outcomes for our products and planet.We champion emerging concepts of sustainability to realize business value and develop environmental performance measurements and metrics. We team with multiple engineering skills and strategy teams. Our unique position allows us to influence environmental design and technology incorporation in current and development programs – as a member of this team, you’ll have the opportunity to leverage innovations to impact all aspects of airplane development!Systems Engineering & IntegrationWe are architecting the future commercial airplanes and production systems, and leading the way in implementing Boeing’s digital transformation! Our mission is to create comprehensive integrated digital system models to capture concept of operations, intended functionality and holistically generate requirements that lead to safe, superior quality and high performing products. If you are passionate about not only building airplanes but enhancing complex systems to function as a whole then this role is for you.Responsibilities include systems architecture development & decomposition, requirements definition, concept of operations, model based systems engineering (MBSE), validation and verification, development assurance, safety analysis, and systems integration. Responsibility also include project management, use and deployment of tools, technology and manufacturing assessments, and internal and external interactions.We employ disciplined systems engineering to develop integrated Functional-Logical-Interface-Requirements architectures to meet our safety, certification, quality, design, and market requirements and objectives. Through our work you will have the opportunity to influence not just our future airplane and production system architectures, but also the way in which we develop and design our products of the future!The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Preferred Experience:Depending on level, 0 - 10+ years of experience in Systems Engineering in the Aerospace and/or Automotive industry
