Journeyman & Apprentice painters needed (Bellingham)

Painting Company is seeking Journeyman painters with reliable transportation and painters helpers with some verifiable experience. Journeyman must spray when needed, back roll, masking skills, cut in skills, Caulking skills, climb ladders, carry ladders up to 40 footers, carry full 5 gal paint buckets, show up on time and have experience painting interior trim packages & doors. Apprentice painters must have at least one year verifiable experience on interior and exterior painting.

We do apartment repaints, new construction; exterior home repaints and new home painting, building maintenance, custom interiors, Stain & Lacquer and literally all kinds of painting.

Applicant must have a valid WA state driver’s license and have their own transportation just to get to the jobs and or the shop in the mornings and have their own hand tools.

Applicants should have a positive attitude, be ambitious, be presentable, Dependable, enjoy working independently, be friendly, responsible, and have a good work ethic as well as possess a current driver’s license. You must be able to work well with customers and enjoy doing things correctly, safely, and take pride in your work. You should know how to work a sprayer and have your own tools, (if applying as a journeyman) you can’t be afraid of heights. Attention to detail yet speed is also important. Cut and roll skills definitely needed. Commercial & lift experience a plus! PAY depending on experience.

This posting is listed as part time work but can lead to a full time position for the right persons after monitoring your performance.
