Community Property Manager

Position Summary:
We are seeking a Community Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations at our residential communities comprised of apartments and RV parks. This unique role is ideal for someone who has a strong background in property management, expertise in marketing, is willing to work hard, and is committed to delivering excellent customer service. As a Community Manager, you will ensure the smooth operation, financial stability, and overall success of the community.
Administrative Responsibilities:
Manage all onsite aspects of property operations, including tenant relations, lease administration and financial reporting.
Market vacancies to increase occupancy and deploy resident retention techniques.
Handle leasing inquiries and manage the application process.
Address resident concerns and resolve issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels.
Coordinate with maintenance staff and contractors to ensure timely repairs and upkeep of the property.
Oversee rent collections and expense control to ensure financial performance.
Ensure compliance with property management regulations and fair housing laws.
Maintenance Responsibilities:
Hire and oversee hired landscapers to ensure our common area grounds are well maintained.
Ensure quick turns of vacated units and timely repairs to resident work orders.
Ensure timely repairs of buildings, irrigation systems, fencing, entryways, playground, RV storage areas, parking lots, and other community amenities.
Conduct regular property inspections to ensure all areas are well-maintained and identify any areas requiring attention.
Qualifications:
Experience in property management, building maintenance, real estate, or related fields.
Experience marketing vacancies, closing the deal at showings and increasing occupancy.
Problem solving and good decision making skills are a must.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Familiarity with property management software.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of local housing regulations and best practices in property management.
Benefits:
Annual salary of $45,000.
Manager housing with water/sewer/garbage, or an RV slip for your RV with water/sewer/garbage.
