Evergreen Supported Living is looking for creative and dedicated individuals to provide compassionate support and advocacy through work as Living Skills Specialists.

Hiring now for the following shifts, and combinations thereof:

7:30am11:30am

11:30am3:30pm or 7:30am3:30pm

1:00pm5:00pm

2:30pm6:30pm

4:30pm8:30pm

6:30pm10:30pm or 2:30pm10:30pm

10:00 pm8:00 am

Excellent experience for anyone interested in the fields of medical, social work.

You will gain the following skills and certifications (all certification costs will be paid by Evergreen):

CPR/First aid Certifications

Bloodborne Pathogens Certification

NAR (Nursing Assistant Registered-Statewide Credential)

Diabetes Management/Insulin Administration training (Nursing Assistant Registered-Statewide Credential)

Home care aide training

Functional Assessment & Positive Behavior Support training

Continuing education opportunities on a variety of subjects related to the behavioral and social sciences

Diabetes training is a specialty training that staff would receive if necessary for client care

Required qualifications:

Must have a CLEAN background check

Must have a clean driving record with minimal tickets

Must be able to provide proof of valid driver's license

Must be a high school graduate, or have a GED

Must be a problem-solver and be able to take initiative & work independently with little supervision

Must have a sense of humor and enjoy working with people

Must be available for a minimum of 20 hrs of training per week during the first 3 months of employment. (We have a very involved training program to prepare new staff for all aspects of the job & ensure comfort, confidence, and competency)

Must be able to complete 40 hour CORE training during the day

Must be able to commit to 1 year minimum

Pay:

$16.50 to start, additional DOE, plus $1.00 overnight shift differential

Skill-based and experience-based raises available for qualified individuals

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.50 - $19.42 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:

We have daily screening procedures, sanitize multiple times per day, and use PPE when unable to socially distance.
