Job Description: Line/Prep Cook

Job Type: Full-time, hourly

Compensation: $15.00/hr

Additional Compensation: Tips, employee discounts on food, beer, cider, and merch

Work Location: Edison, Washington

Working days: Varies

Hours per week: 20 plus

Terramar Brewstillery is a locally focused brewery, cidery, distillery, serving wood fire pizzas, small bites, and salads using the best ingredients from the Skagit Valley. Line Cook Job Responsibilities:

Sets up and stocks food items and other necessary supplies.

Prepares food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces.

Cooks food items in wood fired oven and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards.

Maintain cleanliness and complies with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage.

Maintain clean and sanitized surfaces and wash dishes as needed

Performs inventory checks and completes food storage logs.

Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies

Line Cook Qualifications/Skills:

Basic written and verbal communication skills

Organizational skills

Accuracy and speed in executing tasks

Ability to work as a team member

Follows directions and instructions

Certificate in Culinary Arts preferred

Experience with various cooking methods and procedures

Previous kitchen or pizza experience is preferred, we are willing to train someone if they are a fast learner with a great attitude and passion for food.

Communicate and work well as a team member

Positive attitude and flexibility is a must

Strong attention to detail

Mandatory weekend availability

Washington state food handlers’ card
