Blossom Childcare and Learning Center, Inc. is looking for a school age teacher. We are offering a supervised location for 10 school age children during the academic year. The program operates Monday through Thursday from 8:00 – 5:00. The position is full time, but can be part time for someone with the right schedule. Note that part time would be Mon.-Thurs. from 8:00-1:00.

The focus is on maintaining a safe, comfortable location for the students while they participate in their online learning. During off-line time, the teacher will assist them with their assignments. Good written and verbal communication skills are a must. Must be computer literate and able to juggle multiple schedules. Preferred qualifications: a BA in Elementary Education or working toward one.

Ideal candidates will be experienced with children in a group setting. Teachers must have the ability to provide individualized support for the online teacher's instruction, while monitoring the group; be willing to spend time outdoors (rain or shine); be strong in behavior management and possess a calm demeanor yet have an abundance of energy!

Job Requirements:

Must be healthy and practice social distancing.

-1 year of group care experience as a lead or assistant teacher.

-Have or obtain Portable Background Check, blood-borne pathogens, CPR, First Aid; STARS training; TB test

-Ability to communicate effectively with the children, public, supervisors and co-workers.
