OverviewThe Enterprise truck Rental Division has an immediate opening for a part time DOT driver. Our Truck Rental Division provides transportation solutions within the commercial truck industry, renting business to business. Our goal is to provide high service levels and clean, well-maintained trucks.The Driver delivers vehicles and in some instances, customers, employees or vendors safely and timely to the appropriate destination(s) while giving helpful, courteous and professional customer service. Candidates will also be asked to drive Vehicles that require DOT certifications.DOT regulations have a restriction on the maximum number of hours worked per week which will be reviewed during the phone screen.DOT requirements do not allow for moonlight (a 2nd job) while working in a safety sensitive position.This position pays $13.50/hour.This opening is located at 14655 Jefferson Davis Highway, Woodbridge, VA 22191, in Prince William County.As you are considering a position with Enterprise Holdings, we invite you to learn more about our business. For the latest on our COVID-19 response, please click here.ResponsibilitiesThe Part Time Driver is responsible for the transporting of fleet cars and vans to and from rental locations, as well as navigating written directions.

Drive and deliver vehicles locally or out of area as needed, following all rules of the road

Deliver vehicles to appropriate destination in a safe and courteous manner

Ride with or follow another driver to drop off vehicle(s) or pick up multiple vehicles

Organize travel route and ensure vehicle paperwork is accurate and timely

May need to communicate via 2-way radio or cellular phone

May be asked to clean vehicle and/or keep bus clean during shift

Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Must be at least 21 years old.

Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.

Must have a valid US driver's license for a minimum of 1 year.

Must have minimum of 1 year experience in the last 6 years in any of the following (will consider PT experience):

Customer service, administrative, labor, retail, etc.

Leadership role in civic or service group, non-profit organization or association, campus or other club (i.e., Rotary, Kiwanis, Junior League, VFW, Chamber of Commerce, student service organization, college clubs)

Participation as an athlete on a professional, semi-professional or college team athlete

OR be currently enrolled in college full time for a minimum of 1 year

Must have satisfactory background check inclusive of driving (no more than 2 moving violations and/or at fault accidents in the past 3 years, and no drug or alcohol related conviction on driving record in the last 5 years) criminal, employment reference, education, and social security. A conviction will not necessarily disqualify you for employment. Rather, such factors as age and date of conviction, seriousness and nature of the crime, and rehabilitation will be considered.

In accordance with Washington, DC law, applicants will not be asked about their criminal record, and no criminal background checks will be conducted, unless and until a contingent offer of employment has been extended.

In accordance with Prince Georges County, MD and Montgomery County, MD law, applicants will not be asked about their criminal record and no criminal background checks will be conducted until after a successful first interview has been conducted.

Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job (heavy lifting, vacuuming cars, bending down, moving quickly, and working outside) with or without reasonable accommodation.

Monday 7AM - 12PM

Tuesday 7AM - 12PM

Wednesday 7AM - 12PM

Thursday 7AM - 12PM

Friday 7AM - 12PM

Saturday OFF

Sunday OFF

DOT Requirements:We are subject to certain Department of Transportation Regulations

All applicants must be at least 21 years of age and be qualified to drive under D.O.T. regulations. Applicants will be required to submit an appropriate medical examiner's certificate, or submit to and successfully complete a D.O.T. medical examination.
