- Manufacturing Setting Rolls of paper are combined to create corrugated stock which is then converted (printed, die cut, scored, folded, glued, etc) to containers according to customer specifications.
- Maintenance Setting The maintenance team is converting to a seven day maintenance schedule. Works alone or with other maintenance mechanics assigned to task.
- Job Summary Safely performs daily assignments requiring mechanical and electrical skills in a timely manner.
- Responsible for the maintenance, trouble shooting, repair, and installation of corrugated and converting equipment and the manufacturing facility itself.
- General Responsibilities: Follow all safety regulations and polices Ensures the safety of themselves and other employees as well as compliance with plant, corporate and local, state and federal (OSHA) requirements.
- Work any shifts Multi-tasks and works with minimal or no supervision Performs preventative maintenance/repair of scheduled machinery Troubleshoots/repairs mechanical and electrical systems Troubleshoots/repairs hydraulics and pneumatics Performs other duties as assigned Strong attention to detail. Good verbal and written communication.
- Experience/Educational
- Experience in electrical/mechanical repairs in container manufacturing preferred.
- Ability read and work from schematics and blueprints.
- Strong computer skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
