Please note that this position is with our direct client We are looking for a Oracle APEX Developer (REMOTE during COVID) (LOCAL Candidates highly preferred) (Webcam interviews) POSITION DESCRIPTION DIRECT CLIENT Position Number of positions: 1 Length: 8-14 Months + Location: Remote then at Richmond, Virginia 23219 Immediate interviews Webcam interviews ONLY This position is REMOTE during COVID. Candidate needs to work onsite once the client offices are safe to open. Oracle APEX Developer local candidates strongly preferred selected candidates will be scheduled for a brief phone screen first, followed by a second interview conducted via Google Hangout if hired, candidates will work remotely initially but, once the quarantine is lifted, will be REQUIRED work onsite 100% of the time with NO ongoing remote work. We are looking for an experienced and creative Oracle Apex Developer who wants to work collaboratively with others in a fast-paced environment. Applicant should have In depth knowledge of Oracle Database (12c), SQL, PL/SQL programming, Knowledge in software package installation, change management and testing is preferable. Strong designing, development and trouble shooting skills required. Knowledge of object oriented design concepts, XML, HTML, web scripting tools and PVCS. Good oral and written communication skills are required. Applicants must have strong multitasking capabilities and the ability to work on multiple projects/issues simultaneously. Applicants must have the ability to assess the impact of software upgrades and other environment changes. Specific Tasks: Develop and maintain new and current Web applications and other tasks as assigned. Write and modify application code based on requirement, enhancement and production support. Create collaborative development activities with other team members. Create technical specification for new applications. Understand requirement to write efficient application code. Review application issues and provide resolution to fix the issues. Candidates must have ALL the "Required" skills in order to be considered for the position. "Desired" or "Highly Desired" skills are a PLUS but may NOT be required.
