Would you like to be involved in implementing a brand-new system? Join our team as a Systems Engineer! You will get to use your technical skills to implement a new Accountable Property System of Record (APSR) and integrate it with the existing Finance system to improve the accuracy and accountability of our DoD customer's assets.

We have been supporting our customer for over 20 years with the implementation of a Commercial-Off-the-Shelf (COTS) Financial and Acquisitions system, Momentum. Having supported both the Finance and Contracts Directorates, we are now standing up systems to support Logistics to track their inventory and assets.

We are looking for an experienced, resourceful Systems Engineer with the desire to be a critical member of our team designing and developing creative new solutions for our customers. Under minimal supervision, you will work as a member of the Technical Team responsible for administering and technically configuring CGI's Sunflower Asset Management and Momentum Financials and Acquisitions. The Technical Development Team will work closely with functional resources, solution developers, database administrators, information assurance specialists and configuration change management resources to perform analysis, design and development , testing, and deployment of changes to existing software as well as new solutions for the customer.

This role requires strong technical and problem-solving skills and the ability to properly prioritize, multi-task and work collaboratively with our project team. More About the Role:

The primary responsibilities of the System Engineer position include:

Configure, document, and maintain the application and database servers for the implementation of CGI' Sunflower Asset Management integrated with CGI's Momentum Financials to include the Fixed Assets Module.
Provide technical expertise on the implementation and documentation of Information Assurance security controls and assessments in development and production environments.
Configure, document, and maintain the application and database servers used for development, testing, and production.
Provide technical support for development activities and project team needs.
Support the development and execution of the project plan and schedule.
Work independently with minimal guidance from more senior technical staff.

You'll Bring these Qualifications:

US Citizen with a current Top Secret or TS/SCI clearance.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or other technically relevant degree.
7 years of technical experience in system design, development and production support of large applications/systems.
Windows server system administration experience
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with a strong focus on customer service and solution ownership.
Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple, dynamic priorities.
Must have strong analytical skills and can demonstrate strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner.
CASP or CISSP certification

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

Experience with Financial Management or Business Applications.
Technical experience with CGI Sunflower Asset Management and/or Momentum Financials software.
Familiarity with NIST 800-53 security controls, and related technical implementations.
Self-starter with initiative and aptitude to quickly learn and put new skills to use.
Ability and initiative to set goals and execute.
Possess prior experience supporting large scale organizations with successful ERP implementation(s).
