Description SAIC is seeking an experienced and motivated Systems Engineer to join a multifaceted and rewarding program with a government customer. Responsibilities include requirements definition and analysis, system design and architecture, software/hardware development, operation, and testing. Position will involve direct engagement with multiple stakeholders with competing priorities. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and interpersonal skills. This position requires occasional domestic travel. In this position you will p rovide technical support to a highly complex mission space in the following areas:

Requirement and concept definition
System Design
Integration and test (hardware, firmware, software)
Verification and validation
Deployment
Training
Operations and Maintenance

Qualifications

Must currently hold a TS/SCI and Poly
Experience with software system and hardware system architectures, networking solutions, virtualization products, and software deployment methods
Experience or knowledge of computer and network products and configurations
Ability to build, configure, activate and encrypt devices and IT equipment
Install system monitoring capabilities and produce metrics and performance reports
Experience working with Windows and Linux Operating Systems
Experience with Python scripting

Nice to Have:

Experience configuring and maintaining Linux operating systems
Experience configuring, deploying, and managing cloud-based systems and architectures
Experience performing scripting for automation of tools
