Job Description:Leidos Defense Enterprise and Cyber Solutions (E&CS) is searching for a Cyber Engineering Lead for an exciting new business opportunity supporting the United States Space Force (USSF) to provide a Terrestrial Software Defined mesh Network referred to as meshONE-T. The Cyber Engineering Lead is responsible for leading all Cyber activities across all aspects of the meshONE-T Program, including development and submission of RMF Packages for new and modified networks and overall responsibility for ensuring the cyber resiliency of the meshONE-T Architecture.This challenging Program will support the USSF in developing a prototype/pathfinder for a scalable, resilient, cyber-secure data transport network to support the portfolio of United States Space Force (USSF) missions and Air Force ground systems. Primary Responsibilities- Responsible for all Cyber-related tasks during program startup and implementation, including establishing the Cyber Engineering team for contract execution.
- Works closely with the Program Chief Engineer to provide Cyber capabilities that adhere to the Program schedule and budget.
- Works closely with the Program Chief Engineer providing status, establishing approval processes and obtaining reach-back support from Cyber-related programs throughout Leidos to deliver successful program execution.
- Works closely with the USSF Authorization Official and other customer leadership at the most senior levels regarding Cyber Resiliency and the achievement of IATT and ATOs for meshONE-T.
- Mentors and coaches other Cyber technical staff.
- DoD Top Secret Clearance with confirmed SCI eligibility.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college with 12 or more years cyber engineering experience; or a Master's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college with 10 or more years of cyber engineering experience. Additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
- 3 or more years as the Cyber Engineer for a large scale program(s).
- Experience with standard cyber engineering concepts, RMF frameworks and artifacts to produce working solutions.
- IAT Level II Certification (one of the following): Security+ CE, CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, CND, SSCP, CASP+ CE, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, GCIH.
- Experience managing a team of cyber professionals to deliver secure and resilient networks.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to work with customer and Authorization Officials to achieve success.
- Experience with Cyber Engineering for Network Transport
