Savvee Consulting is seeking to add an IT Technical Project Manager to our team to support our client in Quantico, Virginia. Responsibilities in this position include:Tactical:

  • Directly support the agency’s facility projects, specifically the IT requirements for each effort.
  • Work with the technical operations and engineering groups to facilitate solutions for all project IT requirements.
  • Directly manage data migration efforts to include data backup, contingency planning, and cloud migration.
  • Provide concise and accurate responses to technical IT questions relating to managed projects.
  • Manage each project using the agency developed PMI templates.
  • Provide regular project status, to include presenting to agency leadership.
  • Integrate with other areas of the Savvee team as needed for facility project execution.
  • Capture IT investment requirements and align to the Portfolio and Budget.
  • Interview requestor(s), draft narrative, identify alternatives, and pre-identify costs for technical requirements and assist with prioritization of IT facility requirements.
Strategic:
  • Serve as IT technical support Subject Matter Expert (SME) to leadership.
  • Assist with Investment Strategy Development as it relates to data migration and facility initiatives.
  • IT Directorate liaison with stakeholders inside and outside of the agency, up and down, the chain of command (able to jump from call with helpdesk straight into making PPT presentation to Director and Deputies, while being competent, respectable, and relatable at both levels).
