Direct Support Professional

Provider direct care services in a group home or in-home setting to individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. Follow Agency policy and procedures. Follows and implements the Individual Support Plan (ISP) and any other prescribed plan i.e. (behavioral support plans or special diets etc.) Provide training and/or assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADL’s) and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADL’s) to include but not limited to: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, household chores, preparing meals etc. Accompany on appointments, community outings/events/recreational activities. Assures health and safety in the home and community. Makes recommendations based on the participants needs. Completes documentation daily.

Starting pay $10.00 per hour with a sign on bonus of $250 after 3 months of successful employment with Loving Grace House and a second $250 after 6 months.
