Hello! Apex Systems is supporting one of our enterprise level financial clients with an IMMEDIATE need for a Senior Level IT Project Manager with five years of scheduling and risk management experience to be part of a transformation project, on the execution side, and enhancing DR capabilities within the cloud. This person will need to be strong and assertive as they will be working with engineering teams and will need to understand the engineers, take their work and translate it into reports and statuses that leadership and executives can understand. Details: Must eventually be onsite, a few days a week in Northern Virginia, a W-2 employee, 6 month contract, 40 hours per week. Need to have interview availability on 3/30. Technical Must Haves: Schedule and Risk Management - 5 years minimum. 3+ years of experience in an Agile environment. 3+ years cloud infrastructure experience. PMP Cert is required. Must have 5+ years of hands-on experience in: -Running complex projects with small-size budget and scope spanning across several systems -Running projects using software development life cycle (SDLC), agile methodology, Application Maintenance Change Process (AMCP) and project management life cycle (PMLC) • Strong experience in project management processes: -Budget management and resource management -Communication -Risk management -Scope and change request management -Schedule management - Internal controls and quality management • Excellent communication, influencing and collaboration skills • Good organization, presentation and customer service Thank you!EEO EmployerApex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
