RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client that is seeking a Graphics Designer - Journeyman in McLean, VA.
Duties Include: Graphics Designer supports the ODNI to develop graphics, digital media, cartography, and other multimedia products Utilizes request management tools such as NarQuest to provide swift, high quality customer support for communication requests Coordinates with UI/UX designer in Task 10, Knowledge Management, to ensure graphics products provide an engaging and user friendly experience Creates graphic designs for variety of written and digital products Assists in developing design concepts and implementing designs for new web pages, mobile applications, newsletters, ads, infographics, banners, illustrations, logos, and other types of digital content that will be presented online Provides design services, including website graphics, social media graphics, HTML newsletter graphics, and support for print projects Ensures products conform to all production standards, copywrite laws, accessibility compliance requirements, public release clearances As a Graphics Designer, you will conduct technical quality checks Manages an approved concept and builds it in HTML/CSS so it complies with responsive design principles Provides Cartography support, as needed, to design thematic and reference mapsREQUIREMENTS: To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plusThe pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
