Responsibilities involve managing ship configuration data in the Maintenance and Ship Work Planning (M&SWP) Database and maintaining the appropriate associations of maintenance instruction documents for submarine Hull, Mechanical, and Electrical (HM&E) and Combat Systems as it relates to and supports the execution of submarine planned maintenance for Organizational "O", Intermediate "I" and Depot "D" level. Position may also involve support for the Integrated Maintenance Analysis Profile (IMAP) project. Responsibilities involve taking received collection of material condition feedback and various other related source data and then entering the required portions from that data into the IMAP repository in the M&SWP database for maintaining historical maintenance records information for U.S. Navy submarines. #LI-NM1Essential Job ResponsibilitiesProvides support to the logistics function preparing logistics documentation to establish the range and depth of spares, tools, test equipment and related manuals to be deployed and stocked. Determines maintenance and repair materials required for deployment. Modifies maintenance records such as repair standards for more complex equipment or components. Develops requisitions for and manages records of equipment, components, repair parts and related manuals; tracks logistics materials and parts for proper allocation of storage facilities; reviews configuration changes to evaluate impact on logistics deployment; documents equipment, component and parts conditions; and identifies logistic support documentation to be included such as drawings, technical manuals, and maintenance requirement cards to support life-cycle of product.Minimum QualificationsThe selected candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a CONFIDENTIAL level security clearance.To be considered for this position you MUST HAVE the following qualifications/experience:

High School and 4 years additional education or 4 years of relevant experience

Possess a thorough knowledge of Hull, Mechanical, and Electrical (HM&E) and or Combat Systems and related logistics support elements.

Candidate must have the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively and express (oral/written) ideas clearly and concisely within the organization and to the customer.

The selected candidate must be PC literate, and be skilled in the use of Microsoft Office Products and generation of Microsoft Word documents; Excel spreadsheets, Access databases, and occasionally PowerPoint presentation graphics.

Preferred RequirementsNavy, Submarine qualified.Experience as 3M Coordinator at Ship or Department Level is highly desirable.Experience as Work Center Supervisor.Physical RequirementsMust be able to work in a shipboard environment.
