Looking for Diesel Mechanic (Fredericksburg)

HEAVY DUTY DIESEL MECHANIC NEEDED:

In this role, the employee will perform truck/trailer repair and maintenance work in accordance with factory and industry standards, run diagnostics on vehicles. A knowledgeable, hardworking Fleet Mechanic will apply his or her skills in a company that offers a competitive salary.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

✅Maintenance and repairs on heavy duty vehicles, trucks, trailers, etc.

✅Responsible for diesel engines and transmissions.

✅Responsible for brake systems, electrical trouble shooting, steering and cooling systems.

✅Conduct regular preventative maintenance on service trucks, including inspection, tire rotation and oil changes.

✅Must be able to work independently to diagnose problems with vehicles and plan repairs.

✅Perform regular diagnostic tests on trucks.

✅Maintain accurate records of each repair performed on vehicles.

✅Ensures services provided are in compliance with safety procedures.

✅Works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job .

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must possess a valid driver’s license; CDL a plus

Be organized and keep a clean work environment

Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
