Summary This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: "Technology Applications Program Office is responsible for managing the modification and sustainment of Army Rotary and Fixed wing SOF aircraft." Responsibilities Responsible for the overall management, planning, acquisition, direction, and coordination of integrated logistics support activities for the PM. Formulates and implements sustainment policies and objectives for sustaining hardware and post deployment software life cycle support, supply, maintenance, and training programs. Identifies new sustainment requirements and implements sustainment plans. Adjusts objectives and goals in relation to mission and utilization of resources in relation to objectives and goals to attain an effective balance between current and anticipated requirements. Develops and assesses systems deployment plans to assure that distribution and support planning for items of new equipment is substantive and accurate. Provides direction and implementing policy for progressive personnel management of subordinate staff. Establishes and apprises key staff personnel of PM plans, policies, and objectives, and gives management direction to ensure that separate programs are integrated, fully coordinated, and effectively implemented, and that desired goals are attained. Specialized Experience: One year experience equivalent to the NH-03/GS-13 grade level or equivalent pay band in the Federal service that includes: 1) Applying advanced concepts, principles, practices, and regulations pertaining to the field of logistics management related to weapon system project/programs; 2) Logistics Contract Experience to support requirements, Budget planning/execution; and 3) Providing leadership or managing logistics supply and maintenance, weapon system programming and allocation while overseeing materiel acquisition policy to integrate the separate logistics functions. Selectees must sign an AAC written tenure agreement to remain in the Federal service in this position for at least three (3) years. All candidates who meet the basic qualification requirements will be considered. Subject to proof of AAC membership, AAC members from other services will be accepted by Army without additional review. Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology (AL&T) Workforce applicants must have an Acquisition Career Record Brief (ACRB) on file in the Career Acquisition Personnel and Position Management Information System (CAPPMIS). This position requires you to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter.
