Guard Enterprise Cyber Operations Support (GECOS) - Hosting Manager: THIS POSITION ALLOWS FOR UP TO 2 DAYS REMOTE WORK A WEEK.

GDIT has an opening for a Hosting Manager position supporting the Army National Guard (ARNG) in Chantilly, VA. This is an IT Service Management contract in support of the operation, modernization, expansion, and further evolution of the ARNG's global Information Technology (IT) services including networking, compute, storage, infrastructure, applications, hosting, and program management services. The GECOS program supports the ARNG enterprise IT infrastructure, its Wide Area Network (WAN), authentication and directory services, cybersecurity, application hosting, and associated services. GECOS uses ITIL best practices framework as the basis for IT Service Management (ITSM) model.

The Hosting Manager will:

Responsible for the service delivery of ITIL services processes to support application

management teams supporting Web Services, Data Processing, ITSM, and Content/Knowledge Management Portals.

Directs and provides application management of enterprise management tools to include administration and maintenance of application systems and servers.
Oversees teams that manage critical servers and systems, and ensure services are available and operational in multiple virtualized hosting environments including production, pre-production, and COOP.
Provides cloud migration support to the Army's required hosting environment (e.g., cARMY-Azure) for all cloud-related IT environments/applications and uses and leverages services such Infrastructure as a Service (laaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS) design patterns across Development, Testing, Staging, and Production environments.
Manages teams that maintain security compliance within the virtualized hosting environment.
This includes documentation, Information Assurance Vulnerability Alert (IAVA) management, STIG compliance, and following security best practices in support of RMF, Authority to Operate (ATO), and CCRI.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required Skills and Experience:

A minimum of 10 years of relevant IT experience including a minimum of 5 years performing managing Application and Web development personnel
Possess an ITIL® v3 Foundations/ ITIL® 4 Foundations or higher OR the ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
An active Secret security clearance.

Desired Skills and Experience:

Possess an ITIL® v3 Intermediate or ITIL® 4 Strategist or higher
Experience managing services against SLAs on a DoD TO/contract
