We help our clients maximize the value of their investments by managing the support and continuous transformation of their solutions in the areas of customer experience, employee experience, technology/IT experience across a wide variety of products and solutions.HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
Develop a point of view on key public sector trends, and how they impact clients.
Lead the creation of the customer contract and run customer negotiations until signature.
Provide value-based assessments, discoveries, and workshops to help the customer maximize business results.
Analyze complex ideas or proposals and build a range of meaningful recommendations.
Use data and insights to inform conclusions and support decision-making.
Manage a variety of viewpoints to build consensus and create positive outcomes for all parties.
Simplify complex messages, highlighting and summarizing key points.
Develop, install, integrate, and troubleshoot software applications.
Develop new skills outside of comfort zone.
Act to resolve issues that prevent the team from working effectively.
Coach others, recognize their strengths, and encourage them to take ownership of their personal development.
Use multiple sources of information, including broader stakeholder views, to develop solutions and recommendations.
Consuming knowledge regarding the latest developments in one or more aspects of computer programming, training, documentation, and support to the organizational teams whenever required.
Presales and design of Services, including Managed Services.
Responsible for assessing the various cost elements of the solution, ensuring it is technically feasible and profitable for GDIT.
Responsible for obtaining all internal approvals before submission of the proposal to the customer.
Identifying and addressing client needs: actively participating in client discussions and meetings; communicating a broad range of GDIT services.
Contributing to a positive working environment by building relationships with team members; proactively seeking guidance, clarification, and feedback; providing guidance, clarification, and feedback to less-experienced staff.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or a related discipline or equivalent work experience is required.
5+ years of customer facing experience in a Service Design role including presales, Managed Service frameworks, commercial and contract expertise
Experience with working on solutions in an assisted acquisition environment
Experience with applying development frameworks, including Agile, Waterfall, ITIL, enterprise integration, or DevOps
Experience in federal contracting
Experience working as a people manager
Align technical and management concepts to proven methodologies and innovative frameworks and develop compliant and compelling proposal responses
Experience of working with an ecosystem of partners to build an overall service solution model
Demonstrated ability to lead presales opportunities including service models, response content, commercials, tactics, and negotiation
Strong capabilities to articulate the business value of Services and convince a customer of such value
Experience working on deals in excess of $50 million USD with multiple technology and service layers
Expertise in pre-sales and support strong qualification of opportunities, managing sales and customer expectations about what we can deliver
Support producing new content including design templates, proposal documentation and presales slide materials
Comfortable delivering solution presentations to Customers including C Suite Executives
Strong knowledge and experience of ITIL4 and SAFe
Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to share complex, technical topics clearly, concisely, effectively, and professionally
Ability to travel up to 20% (domestically)
US Citizenship Required
Willing to obtain Top Secret clearance
