This will be a 6 Month Contract to Hire, supporting one of our Major Government Clients! Please See below: Targeted Skills: Help Desk Support -Doesn't need to have a help desk background but just have strong email communication to step into this work - Mobile Testing - Testing work will be tied to a web application/mobile browser -Ideally some software testing exp but mostly looking for someone who is excited about mobile iPhone and Android testing work - Some IT background ideally supporting software/applications in some way (testing, customer service over IT service) - Savvy using web - comfortable using web browsers - Savvy using smart phone - Strong communication - Analytical capabilities - Agile and Teams exp is a PLUS - Soft Skills - motivated, hard working, interested in growing IT exp and growing into a more Sr. Tester Responsibilities:- Tests software releases during the product development.
- Designs test plans, procedures, scenarios, test cases and scripts to accurately assess new products or software updates according to customer requirements and company policies.
- Establishes test processes and requirements documents.
- Reports test results and enters bugs/enhancements into the database.
- Identifies risks and provides mitigation strategies and options.
- Participates in agile project & task planning and execution.
- Interfaces with customers, vendors, and various company departments to resolve problems that cause test failures.
- Works both independently on projects and in a team setting assisting more senior engineers.
- Answers direct customer questions/requests while working closely with the customer
- Identifies, analyzes, and produces detailed records of problems that appear during testing, such as software defects, bugs, functionality issues, and output errors, and work directly with software developers to find solutions and develop retesting procedures.
