Click here for information on Aerospace's COVID-19 directives and safety procedures implemented to keep our workplace safe.What You'll Be Doing- Collaborating closely with the current SOSE team in Colorado Springs, CO, Albuquerque, NM, El Segundo, CA, and the National Capital Region (Crystal City and Chantilly) and interacting directly with customer and Aerospace program offices
- Guiding development of new capabilities and overseeing evolution/transformation of existing capabilities for the customers and corporation.
- Turning customer needs into cross-discipline, executable project plans and coordinating corporate resources to conduct the project
- Leading cross-organizational teams to provide technical and analytical support to government customers in the enterprise system engineering and system of systems domains
- Providing ongoing technical consultation and advice and reporting clear and concise findings to customers at the engineering, management, and executive levels
- Acting as an ambassador for the corporation and technical community to bring significant work for yourself and others
- This position will primarily support the following NGA strategic initiatives for GEOINT:
- Create an ecosystem that provides modern development tools, facilitates compliance with security standards, and streamlines processes for implementation on all security domains.
- Establish a development and deployment platform to support modern DevSecOps practices and API-first development.
- Enhance data governance for discovery, curation, and use of traditional and nontraditional data, as well as analytics and reporting.
- Establish enterprise-wide access to modern HPC and cloud offerings to handle data that support automation, augmentation, and AI initiatives.
- Undergraduate degree in engineering, science, or mathematics from an accredited program
- 12 or more years of increasingly responsible professional engineering/technical management experience, including multi-disciplinary systems engineering and/or program management environments
- Deep understanding of one or more of the government customers to include NGA, NRO, and/or ODNI
- Demonstrated leadership of broad multidisciplinary teams planning and conducting system of systems/enterprise-level planning and analysis including technical evaluations; cost, schedule, and risk analysis; trade studies; and requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with peers and customers alike
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt quickly to change, and demonstrate initiative under pressure
- Willing to travel domestically approx. 10%
- Current TS/SCI clearance
- Undergraduate degree in engineering, science, or mathematics from an accredited program
- 6 or more years of increasingly responsible professional engineering/technical management experience, including multi-disciplinary systems engineering and/or program management environments
- Deep understanding of one or more of the government customers to include NGA, NRO, and/or ODNI.
- Participation in system of systems engineering and architecting activities
- Leadership of teams conducting planning and analysis of complex systems including technical evaluations; cost, schedule, and risk analysis; trade studies; and requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with peers and customers alike
- Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-task environment, adapt quickly to change, and demonstrate initiative under pressure
- Willing to travel domestically approx. 10%
- Current TS/SCI clearance
- Advanced degree in engineering, science, or mathematics from an accredited program
- 18 or more years of increasingly responsible professional engineering/technical management experience, including multi-disciplinary systems engineering and/or program management environments
- Deep understanding of two or more of the government customers to include ODNI, NGA, and NRO.
- Deep understanding of GEOINT systems and capabilities, data processing, and analytic tradecraft
- Strong knowledge of systems-of-systems (SoS) and/or enterprise systems engineering discipline, literature, tools, and processes
- Prior experience leading executive-level projects and communicating results at different organizational levels
- Extensive knowledge of the breadth and depth of ETG's technical capabilities and customer base
- Current TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
