We are a IoT and Industrial Automation consultancy that works with companies across manufacturing, life sciences, and healthcare, to provide innovative and leading Internet of Things solutions.

We have consultants across the US who work with our clients to understand their needs and strategize, design, and implement technology solutions to help them reach their goals. We are looking for several ThingWorx Developers to join our practice. This is a client-facing role in which candidates will oversee strategy, implementation, and delivery for a variety of IoT projects. We are looking for someone with great communication skills who has strong experience building and deploying scalable, commercial IoT solutions.

As a consultant you will have the opportunity to work from home 50% of the time, while travelling to client sites the other 50% of the time (travel requirements currently limited due to Covid-19 but candidates should be comfortable with travel in the future).

We are seeking someone with:

• Experience with ThingWorx IoT services
• Experience integrating ThingWorx into Big Data platforms
• Knowledge of PLM software solution capabilities, such as Oracle Agile, PTC Windchill, Matrix One, TeamCenter, Eigner, Dassault, etc.
• Object oriented programming experience with Java, Python, Javascript, HTML, or related tools
• Experience with Integration technologies like REST and SOAP
• Solid understanding of SDLC principles

Plusses:

• BS in Computer Science or related field
• Strong listening skills and ability to understand client needs and requirements
• Analytical thinker who enjoys bringing new ideas to the table
• Well organized with strong background in planning, architecture, and design
• Experience with Industrial Automation
• Previous client-facing experience

Job Details

• Lead technical discussions and develop client proposals related to ThingWorx IoT solutions
• Communicate client expectations and feedback
• Implement, build, and deploy scalable ThingWorx solutions in client-facing role
• Mentor junior developers
• Develop and design extensions and integrations using REST APIs
• Support Data Integrations
• Engineer technical specifications based on software design / performance
